I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2. It is a decent phone. I won't comment on the price since I can't fathom what it costs in Europe.
It does have a 4.3 inch screen. larger than an Iphone but definitely not a tablet device. I use SqueezeCommander on it without a hitch. I even find (if you recall a question I asked a while back with respect to CustomBrowse) that the menu hierarchy set through the numbering system works across menu sets with the SqueezeCommander app where it didn't on my previous Android Phone nor on the Controller itself. I have not tried the Logitech app. I didn't like it on my old phone as the SqueezeCommander app is so smooth and continues to be. The phone itself seems to work nicely. Samsung seems to have one of the better interfaces for Android phones. My old Motorola device was not nearly as nice. Samsung is trying to compete with Apple, thus there are features that are very IPod/IPhone like. The drawbacks are that it is a phone and has a lot of features you may not need. The thing to probably take from this is that you can probably have faith in Samsung products. -- emalvick ------------------------------------------------------------------------ emalvick's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35382 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92355 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
