Yea I use a Marantz PM6003 Amp with a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers. Great combo! More options: Marantz CD6004 as it has an iPod digi USB input on the front and can even charge the iPad. £250 Arcam drDock - has its own DAC plus digital outputs to an external DAC, if needed. £180 I really want to give that Onkyo a try, but for some reason I'm not holding out a deal of hope on its sound.
