I have a lot of trust in Erland and Pippin. So no worry of smoke and mirrors. I think this is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario. Folks are worried about the future of their Squeezebox players, use of mysb.com, etc. and some are moving on to other platforms (e.g., Sonos). ickStream is not ready for release yet, but the principals want to at least get the word out that something very interesting and useful for SB users is around the corner. But of course they can't provide too many details yet for various reasons. My take is, this all sounds great. The Swenson et al. designed hardware sounds great. I'm pleased that high quality, known folks are working on things that will extend and improve my digital listening world. I very much look forward to seeing the outcomes of all this.
