I highly recommend the Raspberry pi - HiFiberry - piCorePlayer configuration as a squeezebox player. Easy to set up and sounds great. I run mine with WIFI and connect the HiFiberry to my Home Theater audio system. I have LMS running on a MacBook Pro.
