it's not the clicking thats a problem it's the gap in the middle of a dead show thats annoying. i guess i'll live with it because i'm not going to bypass the DAC. it makes sense though that the DAC could be the culprit. it's mildly irritating and seems like a software issue, but perhaps not. thanks for the suggestions guys. if it becomes a real pain i'll try all of the suggestions you have offered.
