Michael, please look at the bug i posted. there are times LMS disagrees with itself even when settings are NOT changed.
That bug report was filed more than seven years ago. LMS 7.4. We're at 7.9 now, and not only did we fix quite a few bugs in the meantime, but the whole browsing has seen a lot of unifying. Please try to reproduce in 7.9 first.
