Hi I am testing my new Chromcast Video (the one with HDMI out) via LMS and Chromcast Bridge v 02.02. It works terrific for most of my music, which is flac in 16/44.1 and a little mp3, so thanks a lot to Philippe :-) What it will not play is flac in 24/96 and above ( not sure about 24/48). When trying to play flac in 24/96, all i hear is loud hiss and maybe some music far below. Tried wth the chromecast connected to HDMI on a TV and a NAD M51. Same result on both. 24/96 plays fine via SB reciever and PiCorePlayer. Of course I might buy a Chromecast Audio and use the optical output, but the optical input on my NAD M51 is already used, but I have spare HDMI input.
