Yes, definitely the trade-off - I have no desire to have tablet/phone in
the bedroom, and if I did, fidgeting through to the app to operate a
Sonos is not attractive to me (OK for managing a HiFi connected device
though). Quite possibly, had there been an SBR equivalent in the Sonos
line-up I might have jumped ship! I'm hanging in there with a mix of
Raspberry Pi, Squeezebox Touch, Squeezebox Radio...

Bluesound seem to have gone for a similar product range as Sonos.
