The Audiolab M-DAC would do it but it’s overpriced for your requirement
and not something you’d hide behind the TV. Very flexible though.

The latest version of the Khadas Tone Board I mentioned earlier would be
perfect if it had optical instead of coax. It has the necessary
headphone amp stage plus USB in (for Pi) and coax.
