Hello,

I've moved to Raspberry Pi based audio as I can still use the wonderful
Squeezebox ecosystem, but with better WiFi. So I have for sale a Boom
that that I used in the bedroom that works well, caveats are the display
is a bit dim and the WiFi doesn't always catch the signal. I ignored the
first issue and used PowerLine adapters for the second - I actually also
have these for sale, as I only needed them for the Squeezebox units. I
also have a Touch that I used with my main system (a very fancy one that
I've spent years putting together). That one works well, but the power
supply connector is wonky, and so I wouldn't touch it once it's on as it
might momentarily power off - which is super annoying. So it works fine
if you control it with your phone like I did (I have Android and used
Squeezer). I'm in Los Angeles, FWIW, but none of these are particularly
big or heavy.

PowerLine is a ethernet standard that passes the internet through the
house AC power lines. It works quite well, though in my house maxed out
at around 50 Mbps, which was completely fine for me. There are two
PowerLine adapters with a single ethernet connector, and two of them
with two connectors (so you can connect a computer as well as a
Squeezebox, etc.). The 2 connector ones also have the AC plug itself
pass through. One adapter has to be connected to the router to pass the
signal to the rest of the house!

This is the one connector model:

This is the two connectors + you can still use the outlet:

Boom = $53 + actual shipping

Touch = $73 + actual shipping

PowerLine connectors (for all four adapters with 6 total ethernet
connectors: $31

All together = $123 + actual shipping

Cheers!
