Slimdevices needs to give clear specs and clear documentation about
running Slimserver on a NAS box to avoid confusion and customer
disappointment.
I've never seen SlimDevices actually recommend using a NAS -- let alone specific hardware. There are plenty of people trying to do it -- many of them successfully. As far as I know they are simply benefiting from the open SlimDevices architecture that allows the software to run on their systems but they are doing so at their own risk, in that it is mostly up to the community to maintain support for these platforms.
