Then go here... http://www.dyndns.org and sign up for a free dynamic ip account. You will need to determine how you will want to keep the account updated with your ip. Some modems/routers have this feature or you can use the client software. I don't recommend connecting directly to your computer without at least enabling some of the security settings. Even this isn't optimal.
