Related to this, I'm assuming something akin to an IR Linc (see [1]) should be used to connect the output of a Squeezebox to the (the IR input of) a Xantech system (e.g. a 789-44 connecting block)with the Xantech system use of 12V ? Unless one uses an emitter on top of a receiver ? Is this the case ?
