You may want to avoid "computer" speaker systems, due to their cheapness, distorted bass, and lack of frequency response. No cheap computer audio system can compete with a basic amp/receiver and two decent speakers. Running the signal from your computer will most likely require a simple 1/8" to RCA cable that you can run right into the amp. The Squeezebox comes with the appropriate cable to hook into a stereo.
