It is worth saying that I had absolutely no trouble with the copying stage, just short of 100gb all in one go. Took a long time though. Mine is a 400gb unit. All done over ethernet via my Devolo plugs. perhaps there are some issues with the 300 & 500 being very sensitive to particular hard drives??
