Providing I can get it to play some music, it will definitely meet my
needs to have a networked music player without a PC to host it switched
on all the time.

I've found the performance of the TS-101 as NAS is surprisingly good,
I've copied 10's of Gb to the drive from a laptop across a wireless
connection to the router/wireless access point which has a wired
connection to the TS-101.

Can't speak yet about the SlimServer performance, it's very quick to
tell me it cannot read my file though and seems fine logging into the
SqueezeNetwork and playing "Natural Sounds". It may well fall apart
when I add my 600 CDs/7000 songs.

If the SlimServer performance is down to the slow processor and limited
RAM, it would be good to see a version using the faster processor and
more RAM. Who wouldn't pay, say, an extra £100 for that?

I think it's a good value for money product. Just need it to work...
