I hadn't thought of that. Unfortunately the wiring is in the walls so swapping cables isn't really very easy. I'll have to borrow one and move my stereo I suppose. Ugh. The squeezebox maintains a 99% buffer most of the time, but drops out every once in a while. Is it likely that a cable would be the cause of that? That seems like strange behavior for something that is physically static, but I'm totally uninformed on the subject. Is it possible to have interference in a wired connection? I have 2 sets of speaker wire along with the cat5 in the same box. Could that be a problem? FYI: I updated the other post. My current router is a DLink DI-604. -- coldslabs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ coldslabs's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=450 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20783 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
