I have no comparison to another type of diskstation, but from my point of view, the performance is ok. Surely, it is a bit slower than an 2400+ Athlon with 512MB, but i think its better than th 32MB solution. The webinterface runs smooth (but up to now, i have only about 1100 songs ripped). Nevertheless, if you want to place the DS in your living room, you should choose a place, where you can't hear it. It is comparable to a PC. @flip_flip In your DS webinterface i saw a message regarding a problem with a perl module. When i have got the time, i will try it again and will post the logging. Actually, i am happy that the 6.2.2 is running without any problems and that the installation was so easy. Thanks to you, flip_flip.
