I think I need some serious help here: Running Mandriva Linux 2006
Upgraded via rpm from 6.3 to 6.5 Slimserver initially wouldn't start because of missing perl modules, so I tried to build them. The DBD one wouldn't compile until I installed mysql 5.0, including devel libraries. So, after an hour of screwing around, slimserver finally ran, but now there are "0" albums in library and the rescan function does nothing. And I don't have any idea how to determine what's wrong. I assume it's a sql problem, but where to I even begin to find the problem?? I turned on sql and mysql debugging and go no useful info.. This is very frustrating, and any help would be appreciated..
