I was under the impression that the "Album Artist" tag should ONLY be used for compilations that have various artists and that it should be populated with the value "Various Artists" for all the tracks on that album (or whatever value you want, it just has to be the same value for each track). For albums by a single artist, the "Album Artist" tag should be blank and the artist should only be listed in the "Artist" tag.
Is that not the correct use of the "Album Artist" tag? What does SS do with the Album Artist tag?
