I am not sure that the FLAC problem is the same bug that was discussed before regarding ALAC.
I am one of the people who had clipping of the end of certain tracks. SD support gave me a fix that solved the ALAC problem (in SS 6.5.1) by revamping a file and using an older translator. Since then, I have decided to switch from Apple lossless to FLAC, and I have had no problems with FLAC whatsoever.
