Thanks for the timing tips under DOS. I was wondering if there was something better than the [time / scan / time] batch file kludge, but for these purposes that's good enough. Actually, the times I reported above are the differences between the first and last lines that scanner reports with --d_server, e.g.,
2007-03-02 12:03:08.4935 SlimServer OSDetect init... 2007-03-02 12:15:56.3895 SlimServer scanner cleaning up. FWIW, Ubuntu's `time' command reported that as 12m51.089s for 'real' time, so reading off the debug output only cuts a few seconds from the truth. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33041 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
