Hi! I own a Squeezebox 3 which I'm very satisfied with. I'm actually considering buying another one for the kitchen. But... after successfully been using the device for almost a year, suddenly I get some strange behavior.
When using the remote control, every button works okay - but only for a total of 5-8 clicks. It doesn't care which button I pushes, I can skip songs by pressing forward 5-8 times, then it doesn't respond any more. Or I could press play/pause 5-8 times - then nothing. Very strange indeed. If I then wait like 2-3 minutes then I can push another 5-8 times before it locks up. During the 'lock-up' it does not affect the music I'm playing. So the device works perfectly using only the HTTP-GUI. But I would really like to get the remote working again. Just to be clear, I've tried to change the batteries in the remote, but the way this show, it doesn't feel like a hardware issue. I'm have been using Slimserver 6.5.1, but after I got this problem I upgraded to 6.5.2 just to be sure. But it didn't make a difference. Any ideas at all would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
