I was thinking of sole-device internal drives.  Heuer did point to a
hideously-expensive one.  So I guess if you really, really must have
one and are willing to spend $500+ they are out there.

I don't think you can get a SpinPoint or one of those Hitachi 1 TB
drives already installed in a case.  I see you can get the Seagate 750
GB drive in such a configuration.  

Installing such a drive in an external case is pretty easy though, all
you need to know how to operate is a screwdriver.
