The point people had a problem with is when you said perhaps you should have gone with another product... When, regardless of your experience with your -retailer-, you've been given exceptional service by Slim/Logitech and the UK distributor. If you had phrased it is, "this thing pissed me off, perhaps I should have chosen a different vendor" no one would have a problem. Or perhaps, "despite all the hassle, it's nice to see Slim/Logitech and Progressive are troubled by this and on my side"... I know it sucks and you're pissed off.
