If you are less than 21, going to a party with "Free Beer" means that you don't have to pay cash for the beer, but you are still not allowed (ie, not "free") to drink it without legal ramifications. It is possible to drink, but you may also go to jail. Risk assessment is up to the drinker. If you are over 21, going to a bar means the beer is not Free, but you are allowed (ie, free) to drink it. You may even go to a hosted bar at a party where drinks are free -and- you are free to drink them. There are still legal issues (ie, no drinking and driving), but they are more like "don't be a moron" rules instead of restricting real rights. Where the "don't be a moron" line falls is pretty much where the BSD vs GPL vs whatever license debate comes in. I need a drink. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40550 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
