Well the SB2 and SB3 internals are basically the same, so the real question is how well have people done with sync on the SB1. I did use to have one and it generally worked but did have problems. Remember that the SB1 is MUCH more sensitive to wireless problems than the SB2/3 and when synced that just becomes even worse. If you can improve the signal strength or put a cable in you'll see better performance. SC7 should also help, if you want to try it out just install it on a PC as a trial.
