Non-commercial BB also 'works' when you have several hundred servers. I wouldnt recommend it though. $newjob is very interested in punting said BB install for Nagios or a derivative (Opsview, etc). Reasons for include features, scalability, maintenance uplift, etc. Given the breadth of whats out there now for monitoring (this thread has pretty much hit on every viable solution), I cant see justification for standing up BB at present day ... even with a tiny SOHO/SMB budget. Cheers. - -- Nick Silkey -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (Darwin) iEYEARECAAYFAkmv3vkACgkQrDQjhjXrMeIyjwCeI/sdNBImOFxx7DGAQn75ELLQ FnIAn0PoqY13Voh84CG9eIWRVWpI6ObI =pfaZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
