I'll agree to that - however - the reason I use centos is because the tools I support (synopsys, cadence, mentor, etc) all require RHEL, and run equally well on centos for less money. If you just want to run any old linux, and don't have a gravity to a specific one, then broaden your horizon beyond just rhel and centos. But since the original post asked specifically about centos vs redhat ...
