* Building Scaleable Web sites by Cal Henderson (could do with a 2nd
   edition)

* High Performance Wb sites by Steve Sounders (The area has moved rapidly 
over the last couple of years so this might not be the best book anymore)

* Best Software writing 1 - Selected by Joel Spolsky
