aGreeing wiht John on this one. I have corosponded with a few apple reps and
also spoke with one that attended the Accessibility conference at William
Patterson University in Wayne NJ on March 17 where we gave a presentation on
Voiceover and she also assured me that Vo developement was a priority.

This is interesting. This was not what I was told directly by a
reliable source only a week and a half ago. I heard that Apple was fully
behind VO development and are very much aware that issues exist and need
to
be fixed. I wonder what the actual truth is here, though I must say that
I
very much trust my source, as I met them in person?

I was told today from a rather reliable source that Apple has cut back on
continued development of VO. I mention this here because it does concern
me.
And maybe we all need to contact apple.
It's not that they are going to discontinue the project, but rather feel
it's 'good enough' so no further resources need be allocated to it's
development.
There still needs to be a great deal of work on both VO, and on the Zoom
feature. The tracking of Zoom, sucks. It just doesn't work much of the
time,
like as I type this message.
maybe Apple should release the code as Open Source...
