Jane:
I had the same problem with finder being busy. But I just went ahead
and opened the iso and instead of trying to move around I just did
cmd-a for select all and then cmd-c for copy. I can't remember
whether I waited then for finder to stop being busy or not; at any
rate I eventually went to the folder where I wanted the contents of
the iso and pasted it; got some busy signals then too but just
ignored them and eventually everything was copied and pasted.
