I don't know if upgrading the memory would solve the problem or not.
I have 1GB in my mini, so you'd think it has plenty of ram, and I
still experience this. A lot more lately than before, but still. I
find it interesting that just closing a window or two usually fixes
it. The only thing I can come up with is that it's memory related,
though it could be a combination of memory and cpu, though I've not
noticed if the cpu fan is on most of the time when this happens or not.
