Will, In the System Preferences, go to Date and Time icon. Press the Spacebar. There is probably a much easier way to do this than what I'm about to tell you, but here's how I do it. After you get into the Date/Time menu, tab till you hear VoiceOver say, "Set date and time, automatically." If that checkbox is checked, I would leave it check. Tab again. VoiceOver will say something like: "type in your zip code or city where you are located." If you are already connected to the Internet, Tiger will search for your time zone, according to the clocation you typed. VoiceOver will let you know when that task is completed. Tab down till you hear VoiceOver say: "click the lock to prevent further changes." Do that; There will be a "click" to indicate that the settings are saved and locked. The only way to change it is for the user to go and unlock the settings lock. HTH Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska. As I stated earlier, there may be an easier way than what I explained.
