Should Microsoft go that route, that might not be a bad idea, because Microsoft has vast resources and technical expertise to make it work. Several years ago, I believe Serotek was hoping that this would happen to Freedombox System Access, but it never did. But with developers coming up with less expensive alternatives, this will, I believe, force the big three companies--Freedom Scientific, GW Micro, and Dolphin, to find ways to make their prices affordable and use a universal marketing strategy, much the way Apple and Linux has done. In fact, I am inclined to install a virtual Linux machine on my Mac Mini, rather than Windows. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
