Hi Dan,
Sorry, you may be having trouble because I gave the URL wrong. My
bad. I just went to the site and it is working fine at this address:
http://www.ifarchive.org
Sorry about that. Infocom games are not specificly available there,
as they are still under copyright, but many many other games in the
same style and format are available. many of them are quite good. I
just found the source code to one I was writing about ten years back
which I may resurrect.

Hello Josh,
Thanks for posting the Zoom info, I lost it a while back.
I attempted several times after downloading Zoom to go to the page
where games for the more recent compiler should be and I get the
message Connecting to server and that's all that it does.
Do you know of another site where I could get Infocom games from?
Also, do you know if the AGT games Adventure Game Toolkit will run
with Zoom?
Thanks,
Dan

There aren't many available. If you like interactive fiction, als
known as text adventures, there is a program called Zoom which
will allow you to play Infocom and other popular titles, many of
which you can download for free from the interactive fiction
archive at www.if-archive.org
The link for Zoom is
http://www.logicalshift.demon.co.uk/mac/zoom.html
There is one cross platform audio game which has a Mac version,
but I don't have that link handy. It was reviewed in the last
episode of Screenless Switchers, a podcast devoted to blind Mac
users. You can get that and other episodes from
www.ScreenlessSwitchers.com
Presumably, Sryth is fine, as it is a browser based RPG, but I've
not tried it with VoiceOver. It is at www.sryth.com
Hope this helps.
