Ah, thanks, I was not enthused about using ff with 7.1. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thuy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 08, 2007 9:20 AM Subject: Re: boot camp versus a true windows environment Yeah. You're probably right. I'm using jaws 7.1 here at work, and firefox 2.0.0.9. I think that earlier versions of jaws do seem to struggle with online forms which is what I get with gmail. When I switch on forms mode in the edit area of the message, the focus seems to go to some random place in the field rather than putting me above the original message. Also, jaws reads out my folders/labels as well as the main body of text, but only when in forms mode. That's where the problem is in that I have to come out of forms mode to review my message, and if I want to add some more text, when I switch on forms mode again, the cursor isn't in the place where I was when out of forms mode. So it's probably a combination of older version of jaws, with newer version of firefox, and the gmail basic html view! Hope this helps.

Just had a look at the message and found it right at the bottom of the pile, so I'm afraid you'll have to plough through all the other posts first. Very strange since other times it puts my message at the top of the post!
