Hi folks, Thought it might be handy to let people know about 2 free tools I just found that are nice and easy to use with VO. If you've got other recommendations hit reply and lets get all of them in one place for people searching the archive in future.
Tuna Pitch - free guitar tuner with a decent set of tuning variants. Keyboard shortcuts and menu items to do everything. Not sure if we can read the meters yet, but even as a tone tuner it's a useful app. It can be downloaded from www.felttip.com Metronome - free metronome that mimics most hardware ones I've seen very well. Tons of configuration options, keyboard shortcuts for all the handy stuff, does what it says on the tin as they say. I haven't figured out how to get to the tap tempo yet, so if there is a floor that could be it. You can download this from macupdate versiontracker and all the other usual suspects, just google for metronome Ron Fleckner (he's the chap who coded it) Hope that helps someone, and be sure to share what you're using if you're a muso.
