Very strange, I can silence the system speech by doing any kind of
command that causes VO to speak. I wonder if this isn't something
more to do with the client itself rather than the speech?...

Well, since I am beta testing a mud client for windows being made
for the blind at preasent, I must test it so I have to use windows
for that. Besides, I don't like nuntus anyway, because you can't
stop speech from talkng once it starts and with lots of chats,
messages, and other things going across the screen it would be nice
to have a Control feature like in jaws so shut it up.
What I'm saying is, there needs to be a client that uses VoiceOver
and not apple TTS.

Count me as a exclusive Mac user. The only use for windows I have
at present is to load the software for my cell and once I get the
developer to provide a simple cab file, I'll have no use for
windows at all. At present I run it as a vm, but that will
eventually expire since I have not registered Vmware yet.

Hi.
I'm wondering how many people are using the mac exclusively and
don't use windows at all? For those of you who use windows, do
you have a separate windows machine or have you installed the
operating system on a mac?
