SS: So far, I seem to be able to navigate the program pretty well using VoiceOver, however, I can't seem to press any of the buttons, not on the main screen, not in preferences, etc... Very odd as VO finds the buttons just fine -- pressing them just seems to have no effect. I've also tried routing the mouse to the buttons and clicking, however, that didn't seem to make a difference. I plan on posting something to the Max forums, but wanted to post here to see if anyone else has had the same experience.
TK: I haven't had any experience with that software in particular but have had the same experience with Disk Warrior. VO reads the buttons just fine and tells me that it's a button but pressing VO-space or VO- shift-space along with whatever mouse routing I do produces no results. I've asked a sighted colleague what's happening and they told me that the actual button was far below where VO was situated. Real strange indeed. Good luck with the forum.
