I wonder how much it costs if you don't want a headset? I wonder why they are uping the cost 100 dollars instead of giving you a choice as Ilisten did? I wonder why it only works on intel macs?
Here's the relevant quote from apple which in no way implies that it works with VoiceOver. "Apple's commitment to accessibility is evident throughout Mac OS X, including such ground-breaking features as VoiceOver, our built-in screen reader," said Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "We're delighted that Mac OS X users now have access to advanced speech-to-text dictation technology from MacSpeech, which nicely complements VoiceOver." ----- Original Message ----- From: "william lomas" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2008 2:42 AM Subject: the future is mac speech!! hi go here, to read about mac speech dictate and, they mention apples accessibility and how it works with voiceover!!! i am getting this, if it can work in multiple languages, smiles http://www.macspeech.com/article_info.php?articles_id=288&osCsid=e88290290f29f125dad9d5384a0e0793
