Macspeech is running a special offer during Macworld. If you
purchased iListen during 2007, the cost is 79.00. If you purchased it
during 2008, the price is 29.00. The only problem is that I haven't
been able to find it on their web site.

I wonder how much it costs if you don't want a headset? I wonder
why they
are uping the cost 100 dollars instead of giving you a choice as
Ilisten
did? I wonder why it only works on intel macs?
Here's the relevant quote from apple which in no way implies that
it works
with VoiceOver.
"Apple's commitment to accessibility is evident throughout Mac OS X,
including such ground-breaking features as VoiceOver, our built-in
screen
reader," said Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of Worldwide
Developer
Relations. "We're delighted that Mac OS X users now have access to
advanced
speech-to-text dictation technology from MacSpeech, which nicely
complements
VoiceOver."
