Hi.

It depends on which situation you are in. Why do you need to click on some text? You can click on most of the icons by pressing vo spacebar, but if you could describe what do you need to click on, I might be able to help you.

Hi Olivia,

To select a web address
interact with the link by using VO keys + shift + down arrow, and then press VO keys + enter. You can then highlight the link with VO keys + shift + arrow keys. When you are finished selecting, press VO enter again. You can then copy the selected text.

Or...

You can simply click on the link, and it should open for you in Safari

Best

Hi Everyone,
I purchased a macbook running leopard about a month ago and have been very happy with it so far. I was previously a jaws user, and in my oppinion anyways, voiceover is at least on par with jaws, with some features that are superior. I just have a few questions that I am hoping someone will be able to answer for me: 1. Is Iwork 8 accessible with voiceover? I tried to use the numbers program, but it idn't seem to work; the screen reader told me that the items were unknown. A friend who told me about this list also told me that the program was accessible, so I am wondering if someone can give me some pointers as to how to use it to create spreadsheets, etc. 2. Is there a way to quickly move to the beginning and end of a document in text edit? There are no home or end keys on the macbook, so I am not sure how this is done. 3. How do I quickly select something like a web address? I have been unable to do this, though I have tried every command I can think of. I think that's all for now. I am sure I will have more questions as I become more involved with this list.
Thanks in advance for answering my questions!
I am so glad that apple has created such a great product which allows us full access to any mac running leopard or tiger!
Olivia
