OK tried using admin as the user name but apparently i am using either the
wrong username or password. now as we know i've just changed the passwore,
sorry again
any thoughts.

so are you saying that as things currently stand, you can log in but not
with the user name whose password you cannot remember? if this is the
case
and the user name you are logging in with is admin then you can go ahead
and
boot normally, login with that user and pass and make any changes to any
account you need to make.

username it didn't gimve an option to change that but did manage to change
