actually, it is quite possible to fail a product for not having something it 
is felt to be required.  This is what cost benefit annalisys is about.  I 
personally have no problem with it because I'd either get a numpad or remap 
the keys or whatever but I do feel that not having the option is a step 
backward from a technological point of view.  If Greg can find a convenient 
way to get it back, that would be lovely.

That I do understand, I'm merely pointing out that the're options so
one should not base their decision not to purchase one just for that
reason. That's the beauty of the Mac, there are many options.
