This is still a public forum. Everything posted here is accessible by anyone with an Internet connection, and will likely be read by outsiders looking for information on the Mac and VO. While I'm certainly not adverse to the occasional bout of profanity by any stretch of the imagination, I do think it should be refrained from in public forums such as this one, particularly when we have an uphill battle already. So, I see your point as well, but feel that it is countered by the fact that this is a very public forum.

I've always love your post and the only reason I said it that way is because I am amongst friends. If it would have been a AFB convention then it would have been omitted. I just got back from a Blind and Low Vision demonstration where yours truly demonstrated the Mac and it's uses while confronting the myths that were out there about us and the screen reader and rest assure that I didn't curse, but I did kick some a$$ if I may say so myself. Come on people lighten up, we are not talking to the AFB we are talking to friends. The thing that gets me is that no one actually post to the AFB list and tell them how wrong they are. You get on me for one simple word and over look all my good. Again point well laid out and well taken. I am very happy to announce that we will soon have three or more Mac list members, I will have three people to train and I think one of them curses. Please be kind to her.
