Hi Mike
The usual process for completely removing an Application is:
1. Move the application itself to the trash.
2. Remove all files from the Library/Application Support/AppName and Library/Preferences/AppName from all user's folders and the root Library folder. This usually gets rid of everything, and any apps that need to do more complex steps almost always provide an uninstallation script or application. There's a program called AppZapper, but I have yet to try it though I hear it works well. This may sound like a lot, but personally, I'm just glad to not have to deal with the darned registry anymore, and at least it's mostly predictable where apps will put their files.

Hi there. Usually, you can simply move the program from your applications folder to the trash. I think there may be some temporary files stored some place in the libraries folder as well, but I'm not sure exactly where yet. But, removing the application will usually do the trick.
