Hi Erik.

GMail works very well, but first, if you haven't already, you need to log into your GMail account, navigate to Settings, and under there somewhere, there are settings for POP/IMAP. Those need to be turned on before you can access GMail from your Mail client.

On a personal note, I started using GMail a few months ago and love it. It's nice to have access with Apple Mail as well as access to it on the go from my mobile phone or some other web browser.

Hi guys. I'm setting up a gmail in the current version of mail just to see if it works, and behold, it does not. Does any one happen to know the ports and authentication/security settings gmail can use? I'm thinking this is just my terrible isp being it's usual irritating self and not allowing it through, but I want to be sure.

Thanks,
