Yes, you can do that. Of course, you would be paying for two services then, 
but you could have a regular phone line and DSL, and use vonage with that, 
or have a regular phone line, and, if you have internet access through your 
cable company, you can use vonage with it.

Can someone keep a landline number and a Vonage number? That's what I 
intend to do.
