So far as I know, I haven't read anything about any representatives
from Apple being at the ACB convention. Last year in Minniapolis,
there was a panel discussion on the various operating systems
available for the blind, on which I gave a brief demonstration of
VoiceOver. Unfortunately, due to some prior commitents, I won't be
going to the ACB convention this year; in fact, there will only be two
people from Alaska going this year. There are, I would think, enough
Mac users in both organizations where arrangements can be made for
them to either have a demonstration booth so that people can stop by
to see VoiceOver in action, and/or to have a Mac available for people
on which to take a "test drive." Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Hello Holly and all.
I have just received a list of all of the exhibitors for the ACB
Convention and did not see Apple on the list. However, from reading
the recent newsletter from Handytech, I wonder if they will be
demonstrating their refreshable Braille displays with the Mac? That
would be awesome!

Hi all. Someone emailed me through the screenless switchers and
asked me if apple was doing any kind of training at the acb
convention. I'm not going, does anyone know if there will be any
sort of apple sessions at the acb convention?
thanks.
